2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 144" RWD High Roof Camper Van For Sale in Vermont

This van was built in Spring of 2018 & has been on the road traveling to 156 of the 423 National Parks since June of 2018.

When I purchased the converted van it had 40,000 miles on the odometer & was originally a locksmith van. Since June of 2018 I have driven the van 25,000 miles & have done countless upgrades and modifications. The van runs flawlessly & gets incredible mileage due to an ultralight build (I’ve spent less than $2500 on fuel in total), & will be an incredible adventure van for any full-time van lifer. The van is set up intentionally to live in full-time, as I have done with it.

With the 10 ply off-roading tires & the custom Fox shocks, the van performs insanely well off road. I’ve traveled with dozens of friends who have the stock setup, & they’ve all said that the ride quality in my van far outperforms theirs. We just did a 4.5 month trip through the entire Baja peninsula & the van performed incredibly well the entire way.

I am able to be in the wilderness for about 4-5 weeks at a time without need to return to civilization with this van (I usually run out of water after about 4-5 weeks if I don’t bring a backup supply). The 300 watt solar system generates unlimited power for me to work remotely on my MacBook, & charge all of my cameras, phone, iPad, flashlights, electric skateboard, etc. The propane tank lasts me 9-12 months at a time (but would be less if you cook more, or you shower using the shower in the van more often). If you replace the tank with a sideways 5 gallon tank (versus the vertical one that’s there now), you’d only have to fill it every 18-24 months.

As you can see from the extensive list of upgrades below, I had no intention of selling this van until I was done traveling to all 421 National Parks. I’ve been upgrading it all the way up to yesterday with new gear & maintenance; but I decided to sell the van now because of the pandemic. Travel is neither safe, or responsible, so until it is I will have to pause.

This is not a new camper van, you’re not buying this from a builder. It’s used. I’ve lived in it full time for 2 years; & it has taken me on the most gnarly National Forest & BLM roads in the country; so it has some tree branch scrapes & paint chips. I’m not one of those people that doesn’t go on crazy 4×4 roads for fear that it will affect my vehicle; I go down any road that takes me to places that most people never go, so please do not expect the paint to be flawless. 2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Camper Van Known Flaws:

One of the fins on the dashboard air vents is disconnected (can be glued or removed)
The Espar Diesel interior heater thermostat behaves oddly, can be serviced by my local shop if you want. I’ve just dealt with it for 3 years
Whale Pump Faucet occasionally leaks water from the pump handle, this notoriously happens with this model. I’ve just dealt with it for 3 years
One of the subway tiles is cracked. I stopped noticing it but you could replace it for $3
